Programme profile
In this programme, you will work in small groups of 10 students on the problems encountered by psychologists in their daily work. With peer students, you will discuss psychological cases regarding various subjects such as memory, fear, burn-out, leadership, learning, group behaviour, etc. This way you will be introduced to psychological practice that can be applied in business, education and health care. The programme lays an emphasis on practical skills. You will develop the psychological skills necessary for you to work as a psychologist. You will learn (clinical) communication skills, diagnostic skills and intervention methods. In addition, you will be trained in scientific research and academic writing skills.
The programme is both scientific and practice-oriented. You take part in simulation experiments and you regularly act as test subject yourself. During practical sessions, you train your interview and presentation skills, hold psychological tests and set up (scientific) research.
